Education through Play
“Play is children’s work,” Curtis & O’Hagan,2003.
Children learn from playing. Children are encouraged to free-play and BarBar provides a happy, relaxed, play environment in order for them to do this.
At BarBar our curriculum delivers an holistic and rounded education.
Educational opportunities are available throughout the day, whether during story time, snack time, or when playing with sand and water, when painting, or when doing physical activities indoors and out. Throughout all aspects of the day, children can be observed learning from their play and this is extended by the experienced professional staff team.
How do I enrol for BarBar ?
Please contact any of the Nursery managers (Kathryn, Bev or Emma) to arrange your non obligatory visit, or fill out the ‘Registration Form’ within this prospectus (click here) and return it to the appropriate address as shown at the top of this page. The managers will be pleased to discuss with you any special needs, requirements etc, or to answer any questions that you may have.
