Recently the children in pre-school have been learning about Spring and looking at spring time animals. Claire brought her rabbits from home to visit the nursery and the children all got to meet the rabbits and watched how they move, eat and explore. Following this, some of the children talked about the Peter Rabbit film they had seen at the cinema with their families. We decided this would be a fabulous experience to take the children to the cinema to watch Peter Rabbit to follow on from their spring animal learning.
The children had a wonderful time!
They all listened really well to the adult and cooperated with all the instructions. Inside the cinema, the children were transfixed with the film and stay engrossed throughout the whole film. The children behaved beautifully and when they returned to nursery, they excitedly told the other adults and babies what they had watched and their favourite parts of the film.
