This year, our annual charity toddle was held in the last week of the summer term and all the children and parents were invited to come and join us. We had drawing, playdough and Fort BarBar to explore with the children, staff and parents before our walk. For the toddle, we walked down through the park, around the lake, up the bank next to the woodlands, past the museum and then back to nursery. When the children arrived back, they received their medal for completing the toddle and our tea party was served. The afternoon was finished with a raffle with a variety of prizes donated. We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated prizes and food towards our raffle and tea party!
We have raised £288.00 for our toddle which will be hugely appreciated and go towards the brilliant support that Barnardo’s Children’s Charity offer.
We all enjoyed celebrating our year’s successes and wishing all our pre-school children well before they start their new chapter at school. Thank you to everyone who donated and joined us for our special event!
